Default good deal?

i have a 96 gt vert, automatic, and this guy wants to trade me an 89 lx, with the 5.0 HO, and his mods are BBK CAI, e303 Cam, GT 40 heads, new forged pistons, and rods, a computer remap (have no clue what that is ) the only problem is that it needs a new tranny. he says his numbers are about 370rwhp and 400lb/ft torque...do you guys think this is a good deal? and are those numbers accurate? i dont know too much about the 5.0's so any help is greatly appreciated...

also, with the forged pistons and rods, is that safe, for say supercharging the engine?

That donkey is taking you for a wagon ride.

370 RWHP......................No days. Maybe 300 at the most.

T-5s are pretty cheap to find though so maybe a re-build with those MODs would be OK

How much are you guys trading for? You defiantly need to get some $$ on top of that trade..........

+1, he MIGHT, and i strongly emphisize MIGHT, 260rwhp. and maybe close to 300ft/lbs

now if the heads are thumper ported and he has 1.70rr's and a nice upper and lower intake and all the other supporting mods he might have around 300-310rwhp and 340-350ft/lbs.

does the car have nitrous?
