Default Another post by me about fenders

Im having trouble finding a set of good '91-'93 fenders around here. Mine are beyond repair, atleast Id rather not bother because theyre rusty. These cars are just about non existent in junkyards around here, atleast ones that arent smashed in the front or non rusty. Ive been looking for months.

I called a local junkyard and they can get me a set from another junkyard for $200+ tax. I can also get a set of new aftermarket fenders for about $85 each. I know that the quality of those isnt as good as OEM though. Sometimes they dont fit as good and they dent easier (thinner metal).

What should I do? Used ones or aftermarket? Is $200 a good price?

I can get new fenders around here from $99-125 each (depending on the place selling them). I would rather have OEM....but can't find any either. [:@]

go for it. 15 bucks a piece is nothing, especially to know they are going to fight right

Wow, $200 dollars for fenders ?!? I wouldnt pay any more than $70 bucks. There are always people parting out their cars, have you checked all the forums, craigslist.com, etc? If you have no other choice definetly go with OEM's but damn, that alot of cash!

Believe me, Ive been trying. Nobody seems to have '91-'93 fenders that are any good.

I bought a set of fenders supposedly off a '92 but they ended up being off an '87 so I returned them and the guy I bought them from tried for a few weeks to get me the right ones but he couldnt find any decent ones so he gave me my money back. He went all over looking for them.

Ive checked several forums for the fenders too, even posting want to buy threads. Everybody either has '79-'90 fenders or nothing at all. Most of the junkyards around here either have rusty old junk or no Mustangs at all.

I checked ebay, Craigslist and the local want ads too. No luck.
