Default Windows stuck

The windows on my 88 vert won't go up all the way. There is a good 2inch gap. It goes at a slant, from the front of the windows the gap is almost nonexistant, and then as it goes back the gap gets bigger. Is that just how the windows are or are my windows off the track? How do I fix that? Sorry for stupid questions, I'm new at this.

Hah...I don't know how to fix it but mine sometimes does this. It'll get stuck 1" from closed. I usually have to wait a few minutes for the motors mood to get better before it'll go the whole way up.

put ur hand flat against it and push up

happens to mine everytime

usually a combo of weak motor/window alignment

Is the window motor hard to replace? Are they expensive?

Oh ok, I've tried getting that damn door panel off before and it wouldn't budge. I've tried prying it with everything I could find but it won't budge. I guess my boyfriend will have to do it. Good thing the motors aren't expensive.

hahaha. I'm always nervous I'll break something, especially when I'm trying to get the wires and such to the switches on the panel piece. I can pop everything out, but actually getting the top of the panel off is the hard part...if that makes sense.

the top of the panel slides down onto the metal of the door. pop out the plastic retainers and pull up on the door panel.

You make it sound so easy. I've tried that, it doesn't like to move. I probably just don't have the muscles for it.
