Default why is one valve clean and the others burnt looking?

I just pulled of one of my cylinder heads and looked at the valves and this is what i saw. Is this normal? or what would caise this? could this cylinder have not been firing?

who knows but you are using a 100-175 shot of nitrous. look at your piston; is the piston clean?

Um yeah, looks like one of your cylinders weren't firing. What did you take your heads off for? Notice a miss or stumble when it was running?

I'd be willing to bet that he (for some reason) didn't have spark in that cylinder.

the car ran good it seemed. im pulling the heads off cuz im putting them on my new 331. I was out with a few geys that own a race shop and they said they heard a miss. so i dunno. i doubt the nitrous has anything to do with that. the pistons are fine besides the usuall browning. but that one is a little cleaner
