THE ALMIGHTY T-5.... not
so as everyone else here has or is having to get a new trans . iam in the same boat iam a broke kid that been saving money to fix this Fine t-5 for my first car i need basicly a whole overhual on this thing . As my dad has found in our basemnet we have a cluster that is new and it rated for 300 ft lbs but i need a second for it and every thing else in this trans i need a new one including ofcourse a clutch so if anyone has any advice to get parts cheaper please give me some links only have about 450 saved up right now but i figure might as well start buying before i spend it...

Yeah but then you never know what your gonna get, there is a guy on this site that rebuilds T-5s for a very reasonable price, hopefully he will chime in. That or make a new post to find him.

Not hi-jacking your thread or anything, but on the same subject, even if you find a good tranny guy, what kind of horsepower/torque can you expect a t-5 to handle with a reasonable life expectancy?!?
