RE: 347's with low CR
Here's a nice thread that references the AFR chamber differences. Pay close attention to Ed Curtis's posts.

The AFR 185 is offered in a 58cc and a 61cc. You'll find plenty of people telling you to buy the 58cc because of the difference in chamber design. Even the boosted guys run the 58cc version and just buy a deeper dished piston or adjust head gasket thickness to compensate.

How much can you get a setup for a 347

Order a Scat rotating assembly from me and have a local machine shop build it.
Do you know what heads you'll be using? You need to know the combustion chamber size of the heads to figure compression. But I can get you a dished forged piston to lower compression, forged rods with ARP bolts and a cast steel crankshaft kit for a very good price.

The Boss block hasn't been released yet that I know of. I think it's due out in the spring. The Dart Sprotsman would be a better choice IMO. I can get you the Scat 347 rotating assembly with cast steel crank, forged I beam rods with ARP bolts, forged Probe pistons, rings and bearings for $899 shipped. If you can find a better deal, let me know.

Jeg's has the block listed, but they don't have them. Call them and ask if it will ship on Monday and see what they say.
