Default Hard starting questions

I'm still pretty new to the stang so I'm trying to determine what's normal and what's not. Since I've got it, it's always taken maybe 3-4 seconds of cranking before it starts. Today I took it for a spin twice and it hadn't been started for a week. The first time I started it, it started in its normal 3-4 seconds. I ran around with it and then it sat for about 3 hours and then it took about 6-7 seconds for it to start. Ran some errands I needed to and each time it started like 3-4 seconds.

I did some searching and it seems like it's either the cap/rotor (which I don't know how old it is) or the fuel pump. I've got a mechanical fuel pressure gauge on it and when I'm driving it's consistantly between 38-42 psi. When it's off it drops to about 20psi and stays there. Is there anything else I could check to find out which one it would be? I'm probably going to tune it up over the winter, but I'd like to know if I need a new cap and rotor rather than just doing it for no reason.

Of course now that I'm thinking, the idle is a little lumpy so I'm wondering if it may be missing a little. Runs fine when you're driving though.

maybe its not keeping a good prime, the fuel pump that is, do you let the car sit for a few seconds in the run position before you turn the key, I have the same problem with my 98 explorer.

I had done that before and it was same thing, 3-4 seconds of cranking. That's why I wasn't sure if that may be normal for a stang.
