you only have to mill the 40's, however it would still be a good idea to bring them to a machine shop and have them checked for surface straightness

well my origional plans are to port the heads and upper and lower intakes and keeping it n/a

its still a good plan.. but bring the heads to get them checked for deck surface straightness... i cant stress it enough. I have seen heads come off motors that were perfectly fine... running in A-ok condition... then cause nothing but problems on the next motor they were installed on. when the heads were removed for testing, it was found that they were warped. The heads warped when they were unbolted from the motor. Get them checked... its cheap insurance!

most deff, we know ppl that own a cyl head shop. the warped heads could come from improper install tho.

no im not swappin the engines, just takin the heads and intakes off. my motor is great. the block needs repair..its for sale by the way...anyone.
