Default severe hesitation

Ok, my timing and everything seems to be okay, the only thing i can think of is maybe bad gas? My dad drove it the other day and put some gas in it. He swears it was 91 but idk... It's hesitating badly when I jump on it. The engine sounds like it's going to do something but yet there's no power, I mean literally barely any power. I had a truck pull up behind me at a stop light, the light went green and I nailed it... he stayed right on my bumper through 4th gear... I don't understand it, you can actually feel the power cutting in and out. SO what do you recommend?

See if you can fill it up with some good gas, see if that helps, maybe the fuel filter is clogged.

The fuel filter would be the next cheapest thing to do. IMO but mattd is probably right on the fuel pump as well.
