Hey im new to the forum, i have reading old topics, but i need some help. I wanted to know if the stock injectors would work or if i have to get 24lb injectors and what the difference would be? I have a gt-40 upper/lower with a 70mm tb and will get a 73mm maf. I dont know if it will work right with the stock injectors, or what the difference with the 24's would be?

If those are all your mods stick w/ the 19's for now. They will support 300hp.

As usual, I concur with PRO50SC. You won't have any need for 24's until you upgrade your heads and cam and/or install some kind of forced induction.

Don't upgrade your injectors until you add heads/cam, blower, nitrous, turbo etc. The 19's are sufficient until around 280 hp.

Sorry tosteal the tread, but is there any downside to upgrading them a little early. I am planning on doing a HCI combo in the next year or so that will take me to 300HP. And then later (When the money is there) going to a forced induction. IS there really anything negative about going bigger, other then the cost of the injectors????

you gotta get a matching mass air sensor for the bigger injectors, or yours recalibrated(if its a c&L a new tube)
