valve bodies take as long to install long as it takes you to unbolt your h/x pipe and valve body pan. its pretty much a drop out, place in, deal. i think your thinking of shift-kits that deal with the whole drilling and such to your current valve body. i'd just check out summitracing.com. if you want an easy and speedy do it yourself install, then go with the premade valve bodies. if you want to do it yourself or can remove the valvebody and take it to a shop to get it worked on, then buy the shift kit... it may save you a few bucks. having a shop drop the exhaust, then the pan and blah blah...theyll charge you just as much, if not more, than a premade valve body.

for the 600 bucks or so, id go with a valvebody/shiftkit, stall con., and a trans cooler. itd finish up your "sluggish" tranny and then you could focus on other parts of your car.

^^Agreed. No other mods will be worth as much until you upgrade your tranny and converter.

well b4 someone else says it go to a junk yard and get teh gt40p's for about 90-100 then port them out, valve job, and mill em down to 59cc for 690 and that will give u a great performance upgrade
what do you get gt40 heads out of at a junkyard? also, is it any cheaper after you get all the machine work done, whats the total cost amount to?
