Default New axle seals + bearings with gear install...worth it?

So for this christmas I'm hoping to get enough money for my gear install...but is it worth it to get the $107 install kit with new axle seals and bearings? I ask cause I found a shop near me that will do a gear install for $320, but they want $160 more for the axles seals and bearings as well. And the $107 kit with the new bearings is $67 more than a regular install kit.

Thats an extra $227 to get all that stuff done which I know I won't have for christmas. Should I wait even longer and get the bearings and seals done as well?

Yes, its a good idea to have them done. Every shop that I called highly recommended it. Also, most shops shouldnt charge that much extra for it.

I've found that most charge $150-$200 more...which for me is a good bit of money.

good bit of money for anybody, but it's one of those things that's going to go bad eventually, so save yourself a little money and have them do it while they are in there.

wait, save a couple of bucks a paycheck and then get it done

Found a place semi-locally who will do it all for $425. Just going to go there.
