Default Mufflers?

What mufflers are you guys using? I was thinking about putting on a set of flowmasters on. But I did a search in here and it seems that nobody likes them or happy with them. The car that I'm working on is a 66 fastback with a 87 (5.0)block. TF1 cam, Air gap intake, Tri-y headers, H pipe.A guy here at work suggested Dynamax Super Hemi Turbo. What's your suggestions?
Thanks

Ive used Flowmasters since day 1. I like them cause nobody likes them. I think they sound great, IDC what other people think! In my opinion, the flowmaster 40 series is the best muffler around. Im running Pypes headers and h pipe but with the 40 seies flowmasters.

Most other exhaust ive come across sound like tin cans.

I dont have any problems with flowmasters.. People just don't like them because so many people have them...

right now, stock, in two weeks dare i say it.... flows[>:]. nothing wrong w. them, theysound great and ive never heard of fitment issues, tho i wish i was getting the slp loudmouths, which im sure ill upgrade to, but for now, the flows will work. getting them for xmas, main reason is the sound is good, just over popular, and there relativly cheap. im getting a h-pipe and back(all pieced together myself) exhaust for $350.

Flowmasters sound good. The MAC's are a tad bit louder with a slightlydifferent tone. Here's a few clips of mine with the modifications listed in my signature.

Yours would sound very similar to mine.
