a/c won't real effect the charging system... but i'm not going to argue about it just one of those things that i don't see the point in worrieing about... and with the 70-80 A at idle thats just more drag realy (not enough to worry about tho)

yup, like said above check all the pullys, all except the crank should turn and feel very solid, no play in them at all, if they all turn then one has to have play in it, so its either not gonna turn at all, or have alota up/down, in/out play, either way, replace whichever it is, and yes, its prob not the pully itself, most likley the component.

i wouldn't realy know about the msd problems... and the plug problem i wouldn't have because the only time my car goes around town is if i'm goto the mall (less than 1 mile) to get a race going the rest of the time is back road fun... but i guess plugs could be a problem for those that city drive

idle voltage is important when you have msd too. msd doesnt like low voltage. also my plugs used to get a little fouledish if i idled for a while
