Default Which radiator to go with?

I havethe 3-row steel radiator out of my other 5.0 at my house, but it needs to be gone through. Or I can buy a 2-row aluminum for about the same price. Which would be the best way to go?

It's going in a '90 GT 5-speed with the a/c removed. I'll be putting on an electric fanfrom a 3.8 Taurus in a few months when I change out the radiator.

I would just try the one that you have now. You shouldnt have any problems with that but if you do than you can buy another rad. If the one works that you have no point in wasting money. And instead of a 2 core aluminum you might want to consider a three core copper rad. They are supposed to cool a little better and are definetly cheaper than aluminum rads. I got mine for around 160 I think.

I just wasn't sure if the 2-row aluminum would cool better than the 3-row steel. The 3-row worked great in my other car. I hardly ever had to turn on the fan. Just figured if the aluminum would work better I'd give it a shot.

It might but I would still try to run the one that you have now... like I said in the other post why spend unnecessary money? unless you have it laying around and are dying to get rid of it lol
