Default 5 lug spacers

my friend totaled his fox body which had 18" wheels on it that i want. their 5 lug but he used spacers. my question is are those spacers adjustable because he rubbed his fenders in the back and cut up the original tires. it has new ones now but i dont want to deal with that if the spacers are going to be a problem. did he just have the spacers set wrong or is that common with the 5 lug conversion spacers?

I have that same problem, I'm running 275's on the back of my fox on a 9in wheel. Only reason I had spacers is because the tires were rubbing on my exhausts and the smell made me gag. They don't rub all the time, only whenI hit bumps hard. I drove for a little over 2 years on my Kumhos with that problem and they were pretty hashed up. Never lost air or anything. Reason I replaced em was because they were bald.

Those are the problems you have when you put to wide of a tire on a fox!
I would go with something smaller. JMO
I like the comfort of knowing my tires wont go flat someday.

Wow really, I have 9" w/ 275's on mine w/ no issues at all. Maybe it's your backspacing? Mine are 6.0"

No, you cant adjust them, they're one size. it sounds like what pro50 said about the wheel backspacing is wrong.

Pro50SC, what wheel size 16/17? Your combo looks great.
