Shocks/Struts ???
Guys,
In the spring car is getting new lowering springs, shocks, struts, question is with the Ford Racing G Lowering Springs( http://www.fordracingparts.com/parts/part_details.asp?PartKeyField=2982), what shocks should I get, do I have to get adjustables or are standard shocks/struts okay. Looking to do this on a budget, so I've been looking at KYB, Tokico, and Koni. Does anyone have any experience with either and what are your suggestions. Please explain. Thanks [8D]

RE: Shocks/Struts ???
you don't HAVE to get adjustables but it's a nice feature, i'd recommend the tockico illuminas, people seem to really like the strange 10 ways too, i have no experience with them, their pricing is very attractive.

i just bought tokico illumias shocks and struts and an eibach pro kit... what do you believe is the best setting for the illuminas.

I've heard great things about both the tokico and the kyb, 5.0 resto has the KYB's non adjustable for $250 including quads, the car is 95% used on the street, looking mostly for street handling use but will see a few passes at the 1/4 each year, so i'd like something worthy of track use. The adjustables are nearly twice the price, so you think it'd be worth having them for my app.? Thanks

Adj. are definetly worth it IMO. Other people may say different but my car is going to be like yours. 90% street time and maybe a few passes a year. Im going with Strange 10 ways all the way around.

H&R sport or supersport (depending on how stiff you want the handling) OR the Steeda Ultralights
Tokico HP's ($227 on eBay from jdmwerks, shipped) or Illuminas for $425. I want the Bilstien's, but can't justify $500 for a set when the HP's are 1/2 that.

RE: Shocks/Struts ???
As I dig into this I'm leaning more towards adjustable, the non adjustable are similar to a midas/meineke shock OEM replacement...[&:]. The drop from the springs is listed as 1.2" front and rear, do I need to specify that when ordering the shocks and struts, or will the adjustables allow for this? Thanks
Tokico Illumina 5 way adjustables semm to be the best suited, butwill they work withlowering springs?
