Default Trans mount choice

Since I'm undoing all of the trans/engine garbage now, it has come to my attention that my mounts look like all ungodly dry rotted hell. I'm going to go with solids for the motor, but as far as the trans mount goes, I have two choices- polyurethane or zinc. I couldn't find anything online, is there a benefit to one over the other? Not getting a solid trans mount

Are you sure you want solid motor mounts? As for trans mounts, Im pretty sure you can get them from Energy Suspension.

Solid mounts are the way to go even with a street car. There's no delay in getting the power to the ground. But I would get poly. trans mounts to help absorb a bit of the vibrations straight to the trans.

Yeah, solids are the way to go IMO, but as far as trans...I've got the two options, polyurethane or zinc...is there an up/downside to either?

Poly mounts are a lot stiffer than the stock rubber mounts, but will still help a little w/ the vibration. I went w/ Poly motor and tranny mounts...It vibrates more than stock, but it's not bad at all. Personally, I wouldn't go solid, but whatever floats your boat.

Poly is really good, that's what I got.Super tough and absorbs alot of road vibration to the trans.Zinc are the solid mounts. So if your car is street a good setup IMO is solid motor mounts, and poly trans mount.

i got the energey suspension poly trans mount and i like it. made a huge difference in my case cause my trany mount was shot. just a little more vibration but deffanitly feels more solid. i would say stick with the poly for trans and motor mounts. solid would be anoying on a daily driver i think.
