I'd do theTFS 1 cam unless you've got huge plans for pushing a lot of boost or something other than a mild h/c/i set up. Ifyou want to do something else along with the cam do an intake manifold. Maybe instead of doing a cam, roller rockersand headers, look at doing a mid-pipe and headers and the roller rockers.

I agree...I would leave the stock cam alone until you do something w/ the heads. Full exhaust would benefit you more than a cam on stock, untouched heads. Also an intake and 65mm TB would help you out. You should already have a 70mm MAF since you have an SN95, but a 73-76mm C&L wouldn't have the bar thru the middle, impeding airflow.

It's a good learning experience, I just don't want anyone to think a cam or intake w/ stock heads will give them 50rwhp. It is worth doing just b/c the potential is there....especially if you have the parts and are just waiting. I'm running the E cam, but I ported my E7's w/ my dremmel.
i'd like to hear more about how this works for you. i have ecam and am thinking of doing a home porting job on the heads. do you have the stock intake?

The biggest gain you'll get is removing and smoothing the thermactor bumps on the exhaust ports. I also port matched the intake side to a Fel-pro gasket (don't remember the part #), opened up the intake runners and smoothed the corners. The heads were reman'd E7's w/ a 3-angle valve job and I also put the Crane valve spring kit on them.

I'm sure they run better than stock, but I haven't dyno'd it b/c I'm still having someissues and haven't had time/place to get them sorted out.

Google tom moss porting for some good pics and tips.....

Oh, and I'm running the TFS Street Heat intake, but tmoss's site will tell you how to hog out your stock intake....

Most people gasket match the heads with the Fel Pro 1250 gasket.
