how can you tell if your rear end is a 8.8 or a 7.5. thanks

get a tape measure lol... there should be a tag on it some where... and if its stock then it should be a 7.5.... don't know that much about the early 80's cars tho

-for rangers, but pertains to all ford rear diff's
