does an alternator from an explorer or any other 5.0 engine fit into a fox body mustang. If so whatis the amprating onthere stock alternator. mine went out and i'm desperate for a new one but i've got an electric fan and i don't think a 75 amp one will cut it. i'm thinking a 140 or maybe a 200 what do you suggest.

is it a direct bolt on or do you have to make some modifications?

wow thanks you are my hero, my car broke down and its sitting at work because i couldn't find a bigger alternator, i knew you could use the 94 and 95 ones but i didn't know how easy it was to install. hopefully i have it fixed by tomorrow. thanks again
