Tokico Shocks/Struts
Anyone running Tokico shocks and/or struts? HP's or Illumina's? How are they performing? Any problems or issues with fitment/alignment/adjustment/quality? Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks

RE: Tokico Shocks/Struts
I had Illuminas, IMO theyre AWESOME!!!!!! Fit perfect. No alignment issues. Theyre an OE replacement, so technically theyre not a custom shock/strut, just adjustable. Quality seems to be pretty high, I didnt run em long enough to see their durability, had to sell my suspension for cash [:@].

RE: Tokico Shocks/Struts
I'm running the HPs. Have had the rears for a while and just added the front struts as part of a 5-lug conversion, so can't say much about those yet other than they fit with no issues. Rear shocks have been in for a couple years and seem to perform well.

I run Illuminas all around and have zero complaints so far about the struts/shocks. They fit perfect, the quality seems high, and the ride is good as well. I dont use the adjustments very often but they do make a prettty large difference. I'm not sure what P Zero ment about them being an OE replacement but they're for use with lowering springs, as well as maybe stock height.

I have their Illumina adjustable street struts (PN BB3026). I loosen them up at the track and stiffen it for drive to and from the track. Huge difference between setting 5 and 1!I'm thinking of trying their adjustable drag strut (PN RB3026).

RE: Tokico Shocks/Struts
OE replacement means that itll fit into the original mounting point without any modificatins to the car and/or shock/strut. BTW, OE means original equipment. Like coilovers would not be considered an OE replacement part.

Thanks for the input guys, I only plan on a few track passes a year just to see what she can do, so I think the HP's will suit my needs, or my budget rather. Thanks
