i think i know exactly what youre talkin about b/c mine does it too, it actually started not long ago, and my air bag light has been on since ive had my car which is about 2 year and it just started. it is really annoying so i hope some one knows whats goin on.

same problem with me, i have a 1994, non of my lights come on, it does it when the cars sitting, or driving, and if the doors opened or closed, its the same tone every time, it beeps 3 times for me, sometimes it happens once, other times it could be hours.

It's not the same sound as when the lights are on and the door is open. It's more of a lower sound. It's a "hard" beep sound, if that makes sense to any one.

I have the same problem with my 91 GT except my air bag light is also flashing. Anyone know what it means cause like said before "its annoying as hell"

It's not the door chime. The door chime is a completely different sound.

Sorry, i said it was 3 beeps in a row, its acually 5, and no, it is a different tone then the door chime.

well u need to find out where its coming from and trace it from there.

Im pretty sure its coming from the dash.

it has something to do with your gauge cluster, if there is one of the connectors loose or taken off it will make the beeping, and if you have some burnt out lights in your gauge too.
my airbag isnt hooked up so the light flashes all the time, when I fixed my speedometer, I took out the air bag light, put it back together and it was beeping.
