Increased vibration after AOD to TKO swap

RE: Increased vibration after AOD to TKO swap
to me it sounds like a cross member or your flywheel. i've heard of people having bad vibrations and it being caused by the flywheel. same thing goes with the cross member. so how did the swap go? how long? how hard? expensive wise? etc. i am thinking about getting a 91 lx hatch rolling chasis for $500. was an automatic but i want a manual. just wondering if the switch is really all that hard. thanks,

The actual swap was not too bad. The research and getting all the needed parts was the difficult part. It wasn't cheap. I went with the SFI approved scatter shield, which required dialing in the alignment using offset dowels, so that was probably the hardest part. My initial estimate was $3000 - $3500. All new parts (except the new pedal assy). I haven't gone back and totalled up everything, but I think I probably came in around $3500. $1800 of that was the new TKO 600 tranny. It was a good learning experience for me. When I get the time I will probably write up my "lessons learned" from the swap, but all in all I think I am going to be very happy with it as long as I can get the vibration issue squared away.

How could it be the driveshaft when it vibrates in neutraland the car is not moving! U-joints were replaced less than 5,000 miles ago when the aluminum driveshaft was installed.
