I bought two new door panels aswell as alot of interior and weatherstripping stuff for my car from 50resto.com. When the shipped the panels I knew I'd have to cut holes for the door handle and armrest, and speaker. Hower It's like half a panel. I been having them for abit and paid 140 for them. All the material is there but there is like no 'top'(the metal part on the backside of the panel) with it. Any one have experience with these? Please help should I send them back or what?

Yeah thats what sucks about the new panels. You have to reuse the metal part. You can get an instruction manual from 5.0 resto's website. Its in the column on the left.

yeah you shoulda read the instructions to anything you buy before you buy it b/c you usually are required to reuse some of your original pieces, i got mine from a guy on ebay new black door panels got the SVT logo embroidered in them also came to my door for round 250$, i figure 100$ is worth it for someone else to do the work and to give me new dew wipes and door lock grommet and speaker grills

yah I saw this guy who makes custom ones on ebay, do you remb where tho? (sorry to hijack the thread).. i was thinking of ordering the same panels you did off of 50resto... maybe you should get somebody who knows that their doing to tackle that job =) .. or take a weekend and a case of beer

its the only guy on ebay that is refurbing the old panels, most of his listings show a grey/dark grey panel with a red mustang on em, i think he has raised his price to like 335 or somehting and then like 100 shipping
i got a good deal b/c i bid on some a long time ago from him, they are very nice great quality!
