Default heater core troubles

well today sucked... i went to remove the 2 hoses on the firewall and both clamps just snapped (but were still holding the hoses on). so now im getting every tool imaginable out and trying to pry them off. got one off and then as i think i got the other one the damn nipple from the firewall breaks off with it.

how screwed am i? right now heater core is ghetto-by-passed with some hoses that are really cramped due to the sharp bend. is there an easier way to block it off? i mean its not blown but every hose going to it was leaking so i just wanted to temp fix it till i can replace all the damn hoses.

oh yeah and dont ask me how but after i got it somewhat-fixed the damn TPS decides to blow. why? i dont know.. but the damn thing was double parked at Sunoco for 2 hours before I could go snag a new TPS.

i hate cars

ah man that sucks. your the 2nd guy in like 3 days i've seen screw with coolant in some form or another, and his tps blows. wtf is going on?

ah ha! i just remembered, there is a coolant passage that runs through the intake, near the tps. a bad TB/EGR plate gasket(s) might cause TPS shortage if you somehow get a foreign material in the coolant ?????

yea i noticed that. it runs thru the top of the TB.

im just so frustrated. as i pulled into my driveway the hoses came off again and sprayed coolant ALL over the engine (which i had just cleaned prior to leaving thinking all was good).

i really have no idea what to do since that nipple is broken now. there is nothing for it connect to.

all of this over some damn leaking hoses. i popped the hood at 1pm.. its 8:46pm now. i was at work for 14 hours and didnt punch out. (scheduled for 7). i need a drink
