Idle suddenly drop??

ive gotta lil problem with my idle. i set it to 1000 (sounds good right there and thats juss how i like it) but if i sit at a long light, the idle will drop to like 700 or 800. this is a problem cuz my battery drops too dimmin the lights, stereo etc. also wen it drops its runnin really rich cuz the fumes make you wanna cry haha.i dunno y but its juss wen i let the car sit for a couple min. anybody had this problem before?

your computer richens the mixture when your idle drops too low... idle jump sounds TPS related

mmm makes sense but i dont kno why the idle drops in the first place?

Every now and then, my idle (normally at 750) will drop about 100-150 rpms if I let it idle too long. I've been wondering about that too. Although I haven't noticed any excess fumes when it does this though. Incidentally, I'm thinking about setting my idle higher too, as my charging drops at idle, and my idle is a little rough.
