RE: just got a fox and has low volts..
Like I said earlier if you test those three things you caneliminate alot fo questions.
Does the battery lose voltage by itself (It is not uncommon for things to be wrong when new)
Does the alt charge the battery
Does the battery lose power when everything if hooked up but off.
If any of those are yes then you can find the problem pretty easily.

i had to switch to a 130 amp altenator due to same problem, but for some reason mine was due to the electric fan auto on and off going out and now i just wired it so it runs whenever the key is on. i like it better that way because my car runs better since i wired it to run all the time due to cooler=more gas dumpage. but you know heat=more horses so i guess sometimes you gotta let peter rob paul to pay merry to see whats best for you.

yeah I have a gm 1wire on my fox 75amps.
I have the following
electric fan
eletric water pump
140gph fuel pump
msd ignition
under drive pulley on the crank
when i'm at a stop I have 13.4 volts driving 14.6
with the light on these # are a little lower I'm upgrading to a 200amp gm 1wire
