Default EGR Valve

Just bought Afr 165s for my 94 gt, and the EGR valve is being a piece of **** as usual. Can anyone remember if the top is reverse thread, and what is the best way to get the pipe off of it. I've always just used a huge crescent wrench, but maybe there is a better way. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you sure you are talking about the EGR valve? Mine is two bolts and doesnt have a pipe going to it! It has a vacume line that just pulls off. Maybe 94 is diferent but I dont think so!

yea im sure, i have had to take it off a couple times before. Its different for the 94. When using the trick flow manifold its bolted into the back of the adapter elbow, and has a metal exhaust tube screwed into it going down and connecting to the header.
