ORIGINAL: 89 lx50

besides that i have upped the timing 18 degreestook out the smog stuff and a/c cooler plugs and msd set up with stock distibutor but msd 6al coil and cap and rotor and 9mm ford racing wires other than that thats it. when i took it to the trak mid summer the car was bone stock with exhaust and cold air the car went 13.98 99mph! the car is also a convert!
So with all that, an F cam, 351w heads, and a 70mm TB you're making 339rwhp?

I added 1.94 intake and 1.6 exhaust valves, shaved .010, enlarged bowls, stage 3 port and polish, 1.6 rollers and trickflow stage one camshaft and old tune.

284 at the crank, and run mid 12's, these heads are not a joke modified, 1969 DO0E 351W .

34 more ponies in addition to what you made(, not that bad,) work was $500, heads and all, guy was behind on his mortage

definately the motor was rebuilt with stock pistons and all the block was honed out also with new rings ! that and with new valve springs and cam it makes for a whole new motor you really wouldnt believe the gains by honing it and new springs huge gain for cheap money!!$$$ they say just changing valve sprins and honing the motor with new rings @@ 30 horse bteer than worn out eqiupment!

idle issues and driveability arose,

tuner set fuel pressure to 45, timing 14 spout out, tps 1.03, new Ambient Air Temperature Sensor and o2's since all them were bad with the readings back to the ecm and remapped the injectors to help spread power smoothly.

oh hell yeah, anytime you get a good seal and great compression, you feel that.

Im very tempted to install a stroker kit or blow her, for an easy 400, but as of now having traction issues and torque box reinforcements work first/.

torque boxes banged up, control arm bushings spidered bad, driveshaft u joints has excessive play, and stock tires are being replaced with better slicks than the ones I have

Post some dyno sheets. I'm still having a hard time believing that a mild h/c/i combo is going to give you a gain of atleast 140rwhp.
