I have a king cobra and it is a good clutch for the money. Read and heard too many horror stories of people with SPECs in daily drivers.

I will say though the Cobra doesnt have the grabbing power I expected and experience in buddies cars. Has too much slip to it IMO.

We have a Spec stage 1 on our mild 93 and its easy to drive and it grabs really good. It aslo allows just a littl ebit of slip to help lay down some rubber when you want. I would definatley buy a Spec again.

I have the KC and don't have any beef with it other than the pedal tension, and I am pretty sure that is sourced by something else. I didn't install it so I have no idea what the hell I am working with in regards to adjuster and quadrant, but as a clutch - its great. 1-2-3 burnouts, powershifts, 2nd gear clutch drops from a roll anda stop and it just grabs. I never smell it burn, I never get a chatter, and it only slips if I drive it likea bitch. I have heard people with 500hp running KC's with no trouble but then you get people like 94gtcoupe that eat one up in an oil change.... Bottom line for me - Its a good clutch especially for the $
