Default Cam?

I was wanting to order a ford racing E 303 cam from summit i think they were only like 165$ it sounded cool but is there a better similiar cam for the price, or any suggestions for other mods that are cheap ( 450$ ), is it all that hard to swap the cams i'd like to do it myself, cars stock for now

dont install a cam until you have heads and an intake. its a waste of time and money. do suspension and gears first

Ya, i didnt even know why i leaned toward the cam it just seemed like a cool deal, for like 400$ i can pick up an explorer motor, I could use those heads and intake and pick up about how much HP, TQ? are any other parts off the explorer motor better then what i got in my GT

I think the gt40p and intake swap is good for like 40whp..then toss in a cam. I have an e-cam and yes it sounds good, and makes alright power to about 5500..
