Default 90 stang oil light and "the lean"

Hey all, oil light in my 90 gt comes on first start in morning, then its off next time I start it.... like that all day, sometimes on and sometimes off! The oil level is fine.Where do I start? Also, my car leans to the left, like the left side sits lower than the right... is this common? I replaced the rear shocks but no help there, and no Im not a huge guy thats causing the lean. Thanks All.

Is the motor making any odd noise when the light is on, if not try replacing the sending unit for the gauge.

As far as the lean, changing shocks/struts have no bearing on ride height. Most likely a broken or sagging spring.

i agree with pro50 on the springs, its also a possibility if its seen some abuse you could have some subframe distortion issues.

I would start with the low oil sensor on the side of th oil pan.

if the car leans bad i bet that is fluctuating the oil level

the dipstick is notorious for "improper" readings to. you actually want it above the full line

Whats funny is that LRS usually shows that most parts fit 87-93's but in 90 with the change of the oil pan, there is a different sending unit gasket depending on production date wether its late 90 or not. Also some time in 90 the oil drain plugs changed mid year. The gasket that LRS has will probably work though.
