Default a arms and control arms

I know i need new ball bearing on my stang. i know that the ball joint is on the control arm and its recommended to replace the whole arm. what i don't know is whats an a arm?

The a-arm is just another name for the control arm. Why do you need to replace it cuz you need a new bearing?

Just replace the ball joint.not the whole assembly.its easy.Do a search.

i was reading older posts and people on it said it was better to replace the whole thing... i have veritcle wobble in my tires alot. when i am on the highway its hard to stay in the lane sometimes it so bad.

make sure you have a press!! you arent going to beat those babies out with a hammer and socket. Althoug I did manage to do it after 6 hours a struggling....

when i did mine i jacked uder the K-Member...then blocked the car on the reinforcement plate under the drivers and passengers floor...near wherethe door meets the fender.....do not reley on just a jack for support.
