so then what would you run it off of? because normally it runs off the crank so then where would it run off of....im still kinda lost about these pullies...I have an idea.. but not totaly sure...it just slows down your accsessories for more hp right? but running the alternator off of it would slow it down so then where would you run the alternator belt then? thanks

^ ok.. all of your exsesories will still run off the same belt. its just when you get underdrive pulleys, they are smaller pulleys, and if you put the underdrive pulley on the alt then it would be as efficent, so pro was saying to not put the underdrive pulley on the alt so that you wouldnt run low volts.. like i am right now because i have underdrive pulleys. but yes id say upgrade to at least the 3g 130 amp unit. thats what i plan on doing. this is where i plan to get my 3g unit, http://www.pa-performance.com/displa...20+Max&rP=its the whole kit with everything you need to convert your 2g unit to the 3g unit.
