So my left rear quarter window quit working (motor still runs but no movement). I am to believe that the plastic gear has given out. Does anyone know if there is a repair kit for this? I know they makea kitfor the front power window motors but have not been able to find em for the rear. Any help on fixing this without buying a new motor assembly would be greatly appreciated.

check the help section at the auto parts store! its probably making a clicking aound also? there three little roller in the motor that are made to shear off if someone stick there arm in there while the windows going up. they go bad from age. normally the rollers are found in the "help" section at auto zone/advance etc there about 5$

take the motor out remove the cover over the protuding gear, remove the gear(just pulls out after the covers off, now u have to clean all the old grease and broken pieces of plastic out,

now the next step is kinda tricky take the new rollers put a dab of grease(dont overload the motor or the parts will not fir back in) on each one and slightly angle them where there going to end up sitting(dont push them down leave them on the outer edge, now take the gear(which uve already cleaned) and insert the shaft in between the new rollers and push it together till its sits flush it might take a couple of times to get them situated right but be patient

Thanks guys as far as I see 50resto only sells the replacement motor. I am pretty sure my motor is still good. Its just got some sort of gear problem going on. Will try pulling everything out tomorrow to get a look see whats actually going on with it.

the part number from 50resto is lrs-wlk52 but it will bemore cost effective to go to the parts house cause 50 wants 6.95$ plus shipping
