steel is stronger then the factory metal fly..and yes 28/50 oz are diff..i need a 28 oz one for attachin a older 302 block to a newer t-5..a hays is about 245.00 in jegs...i bought one on ebay brand new 80.00 //plus you can get higher pressured plates and clutches, to make better grippin power to a steel fly.. fuel injection has nuthin to do wqith it..its pre 82 years with 28 oz..you can put a 5.0 fi set up on a older 302....and use a 28 oz just depends on what ya crank was balanced at
