Nobody can answer that question as it all depends on how you drive and how hard you drive and how well you maintain the car. I will say that properly built and assembled either a 331 or 347 naturally aspirated would last 100,000 miles or more in a street/strip application if it is properly maintained with regular oil changes and normal maintenance attention to things like plugs, wires, etc. The problem with the 347 stroker has been corrected with better design pistons that don't have the oil ring groove interferring with the wrist pin hole, so they aren't the oil burners they used to be some years back. There is a slighty higher side loading on the pistons in a 347 due to the longer stroke, but like I said, the newer pistons made for this stroker application are designed specifically for this also.
And I'm considering removing my sway bar before I go to the track today.
Of course I'd have to drive it there... Like a 20-30 min drive too.
Think I should?
I had a real hard time removing mine as the main attachment bolts are not only hard to get to but they have cheap factory nuts on them that broke when I took them loose, so I would recommend you leave it alone for now.
