leaking sunroof
well i havent driven anywhere for the past couple of days because of the holidays. well this morning i went out to my car and the seats, carpet, everything is just soaking wet. i looked and its coming from the front of the headliner by the windsheild. looked up in that valley where water collects under the sunroof, and saw a little drain hole. anyone know where this should drain to? if there is a hose on it, i have a feeling that hose either came off or is clogged. im gonna pull my headliner down see whats going on. things like this just make me want to build a frame and close the sunroof hole all together. ive never liked sunroofs or convertibles...correct me if im wrong but, i have a feeling the sunroof drains down the pillar, and out by the hinge for my door. because its very rotten back there.

RE: leaking sunroof
Have your sunroof patched with a piece of sheetmetal..... only way. Sunroofs suck man. You can replace the weather stripping every week and they will still leak. Been there, done that.

RE: leaking sunroof
has anyone deleted there sunroof? have any pics during the process? im trying to figure out the best way to do it. probably need some kind of subframe, peice of sheet metal would be pretty flimsy alone.

RE: leaking sunroof
if you want to get rid of the sunroof the best thing would be to
buy a stock roof panel and use it as a patch and cut out the hole and
weld it in if you don't want to put a complete roof skin on
or buy a car port to keep it under .......................
