i have a 93 cobra and i just finished a sn95 5 lug conversion. but the front tires stick out from the finders about 3/8 of an inch.i put the stock 17x9 wheels off of my old 2003 cobra on the car. i was wondering if there was anything different about the cobras that would cause this, or if i got taken at the salvage yard. maybe he gave me 96 and up spindles. ive done a million searches on ten different sites, but i cant find any info on a the 93 cobra 5 lug conversion. any info is appricated.

Must be cuz the 94/95 don't stick out as far as the later years. What's the backspace on the wheels you have?

I thought the 93 cobra's came w/ 5 lug.

cobraR's are 5 lug but the cobras are 4. the stock 2003 cobra rim should have a +26 back spacing

w/e that means. How about in inches? 17x9 is usually somewhere around 6.". It's no wonder they stick out. Got any pics?

i did the sn95 5 lug convo on my 89 and my 17x9s stick out just a hair but you also have to figure that you took off you old crappy 4 lug wheels and you put on widers wheels and tires

maybe i should go with a 17x8 on the front
