my new years project will be a 351 windsor in mine supercharged and possibly stroked but dont know yet. for what you will spend beefing that t-5 up i would go c-4 with a manual shift body, you can go 3 speed and the car will hook good, im not saying you cant get the car to hook with a t-5,but for 1800 you can build a c-4 bullet proof that will withstand 1000hp. i think with a t-5 your gonna be tough hooking up in 1st and 2nd. im having trouble now with a 306 in my car.
