I'm and idiot and I have a problem. Need Help!
Tonight I was messing around inside the door trying to fix a problem witht he door opening correctly on my 93 5.0.Since I removed the door panel and the arm rest, all that was left was the the door and the lock/unlock buttons along with the window buttons hanging by a wire. It's just my luck thatthey were hanging in the rightpositionfor the lock button to hit the seat whileIshut the door. So now I'm locked out of my car.
What I need to know is how tobreak into my owncar as I have no spare keys. Does anyone know the best way to pick the lock or using the coat hanger method, exactly whereI should put it.PleaseHelp!

Call your local police department, they'll send an officer down and do it for free. Before they do this, they will get some info from you and make sure that you don't have any outstanding warrants or anything.

If you can get through and press the unlock button on the other side, that's the easiest way. Use a heavy wire coat hanger, and you'll have to bend it to fit the situation. It's sometimes easier if you have a friend who can watch from the other side to help direct you. Wedge the door open with somthing soft like wood or a plastic wedge if you have it. You can also call someone like Pop-A-Lock or a mobile locksmith to come out and open it for a nominal fee (probably $50 - $80).
Take your time and be patient. Good luck.
EDIT:
Regarding the PD, you can call and see but they may not. I'm a firefighter, and we will only use our equipment to unlock if there is a life inside that can't get out. Otherwise there's just too much liability with our litigation happy society.

If anyone has the door wiring diagram, you could find the two wires that run the unlock function in the wheel well, and jump them together real quick
I did that in my old probe when i got locked out

I've tried with acoat hanger and cant seem to latch onto the door lock. Not to mention it broke and fell down in there. Guess I'll have to keep on trying.
