could have been the guy who tuned it, he said 4.5 but who knows, thats why ive learned to work on my own stuff. im still dumb to superchrg. though, im researching soon so i can supercharge a 351 windsor i have. i know i have seen where you should use super unleaded and i was using regular on alot. that may have been why.

oh well theyre iowa plates. and i think id probly get a supercharger and my budget is anywhere but im aming at the cheaper things. like maybe 2000 at the most but im not sure how much these supercharger kits are. all i want is a good one thatll add some more ponies.

vortech superchargers are nice... definately throw in more ponies... Before making oyur decision weigh out the pro's and cons. Driveability, costs, etc. Check out the hellion turbo kits. They are definately nice. There is a guy on this forum that was running one. His sn is foxrod.

You also have to factor other things in too. A tune is a big one, injectors, etc. All of the little supporting mods that you need to go along with it.

Vortech S-Trims are good in my opinion. They are usually fairly cheap, and can get you into the low 12s with just bolt ons and the kit.
