What the hell man. Verts are the ****. Listen if you like the car then go for it. I have driven some POS cars in my life, and it sucks. But a 5.0 is something you can make better yourself. And just because it has a carb is no reason to be scared. You can massage that engine just as good as a EFI. The block will need to be replaced if you want to go to BIG HP, and the Tranny as well. But that is how things go. I enjoy working on my car. Takes you mind away from all the other crap in your life. That sounds like a good price if it is in good shape.
