quick way is to jack the rear up and count how many times the drive shaft turns to 1 revalution of tire. So after its jack in the air place in Neutral and take of brake thin spin the tire 1 full turn but countthe drive shaft as you do it. So get a white marker to make it easier.Its not 100% acurate but real close.

I'm still fond of the "pull the cover and look at the ring gear" technique. The ratio should be stamped on the side of the ring gear. Plus, then you can change the gear lube. When was the last time you did that? LOL

Well after this little tranny scandel i will have to see if i have 3:73's or not but If i dont i will have someone prob put them on because people say i should. Well hope this tranny thing is not too bad.
