Default Oxygen sensor

I have a '87 GT 5.0. My question is where do the wires for the oxygen sensors come out of the firewall/wire harness, and what color are they. I bought and have driven it for over 2 yrs, and it runs real good, now it is starting to idle high sometimes (IAC, or dirty TB) but I was wondering what the po did to it. It has no cats, and it has one OS in the drivers side with no wires to it and no OS in the pass side. My "check engine" light comes on when I first start it, and then goes off like it should!
I have my house up for sale, and have ALL my shop manuals packed and in storage!

Thanks Pat

I know the 92 has a black 8 pin plug in the main harness near the passenger fender. This plugs in to the O2 harness which runs down and around the oil pan to each O2 sensor. Not sure if the earlier ones were set up this way though.

Yup, the O2 harnesses connect by the MAF. The wires should be green and white, I think, or maybe black and white....sorry, that was useless.

Thanks for the info!
I had taken the car to a quick change oil shop, because it's lowered and with the GT ground affects, I have to get out my small scissor jack to get my smaller floor jack under the car! and the oil place I can just drive over their pit. (free) and he told me where my minor oil leak was, and I asked about my oxygen sensors, and my exhaust. Today I decided to change the oil and look at the underside of the car, and it does have both sensors, drivers side has the 3 wires hanging from it, and pass side is hooked up. I'm going to have to put it in the air to see where the other end of the wires are! but it still runs good without the one hooked up, and I don't get a light, and no cats on it.

You can't trust anyone to look for you!
