Default clutch cable

how do u unhook the clutch cable?? i have 4 busted Knuckles but dont have the cable un hooked from the pedal[:@]

On the bellhousing is a cover you remove that shows the clutch fork, depress the clutch fork and remove cable.

You don't have to release it from the clutch fork first. You should disengage it from the quadrant, under the dash first. You have to press the pedal down, and then release it while holding the quadrant up. Then you can lift the end of the cable out of its slot in the quadrant. It's been a while, so take a close look at the quadrant/cable before doing this...make sure what I said makes sense. I am certain that taking the cable off at the clutch fork first is doing it the hard way...also, I think you can damage your brittle quadrant (if it's stock) putting the cable back on this way, if the cable isn't sitting on the quadrant correctly. Just my opinion.
