Situatioin fixed?
So I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem, or any related like problemsbefore. any replies welcome.
I was driving down my lane about a week ago and i wnet to push in on the clutch pedal to pull it outta gear and i heard a pop and my pedal was loose and flimsy. I popped the hood and i could see the end of the cable, it had came outta the clutch forkbecauseit looked like there was no nut, or the threaded piece had snapped. So me and my brother pushed it up our lane backwards which is almost 1/4 mile. I got her jacked up and looked at the cable and the nut had rattlerd off i guess. So i compared the thead size and went to town and got 2 5/16 fine thread nuts and put them on there, and its been fine since.
I guess that would be the reason why before i would have to tighten the firewall adjuster about 1 or 2 times a week cuz that nut down there was slowly backing off.
