Not only that, even with ABS your stopping distance is greatly increased.

yeah i got into an accident once because my skinnies locked up alot easier than my 245s on my cobra Rs would have. the guy pulled out infront of me, the accident wasnt my fault, and i couldnt have stopped either way no matter wich tires i had on but im sure it wouldnt have been as bad if i had the other wheels on and did not skid as far.

I have 15x8's in the rears and 15x7's in the front. It looks perfectly fine IMHO. I'll have to take a picture of my car tomorrow. As long as the back spacing is right for the 15x7 it will look fine.
