I daily drive my Prostar skinnies. They hold up well on the street. Just watch out for large pot holes.

Just a question.....have you done the 5 lug conversion? If you havent then you will have to return the rears........or do the conversion. Prostars only come in 5 lug.

I personally am not a fan of the ET streets. For a rear tire I like the BFG Drag Radial. On the front I run a Metric 165/15. It is basically a volkswagon tire.

I second that. When you run skinnies on a daily driver make sure you check them on a regular basis. They'll eventually warp on the inside from all the weight. If you don't check it every once in a while, you'll realize it the hard way.

I actually didn't feel a big difference between the ponies and the skinnies.

It truly isnt the feel, it is reducing the rotating mass. Weigh a Pony rim and Prostar. TheProstar is lighter, hence easier torotate, in both the front and the rear.

It depends. If you like to do burnouts, before you race someone then tire life will fade faster. The BFG's work really well on the street without a burn out. They seem to last for awhile too. I like them.

But put the Metric on the front, it is a tough tire.
